UNIVERSAL Orlando is set to open the biggest theme park in the United States next year.

Epic Universe will include everything from three new hotels to another installment in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The theme park, originally planned for 700 acres of land, is now being developed on 2,000 acres in downtown Orlando.

Documents filed with the city outline the updated plan, which includes the theme park, hotels, shops, and food and beverage amenities.

As well as adding a Ministry of Magic attraction to the existing Harry Potter universe, Universal is introducing some new lands.

These include Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Celestial Park.

Between the five lands, there will be 50 new attractions available to visitors.

Universal has already unveiled Super Nintendo World, the Isle of Berk, and the Celestial Park.

Earlier this month Universal opened a preview center for the new park at Universal CityWalk.

The center includes a scale of the park, outlining each of the attractions available.

An augmented reality experience is also available on mobile devices to bring the park to life.

Epic Universe will join Universal Orlando’s other famous parks Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay.

Also included in the development are three luxury hotels, two of which are cosmic-themed.

The Stella Nova and the Terra Luna resorts are both owned by Loews Hotels and brought to life by Universal Creative.

Between the two locations, they will offer 1,500 rooms to park guests.

The Universal Helios Grand Hotel is also currently under construction at the site.

Universal shared renderings of the accommodation at the beginning of 2024.
